Funeral of Mrs. Elder
The funeral of Mrs. Elder, beloved wife of Anton Elder, who passed away at the hospital in Canon City last Wednesday, was held at the Catholic church here last Sunday forenoon, the Rev. Edw. Berkemeyer officiating, after which the remains were followed to the Catholic cemetery where interment took place.
The deceased was born in Germany. With the other members of the Kiesler family she emigrated to America and settled in Indiana. She then came west and made her home in this valley, where she had resided for thirty-seven years. Her age was 62 years 6 months. Surviving is the husband and one brother, Joseph Kiesler, here, and two brothers in Indiana.
Mrs. Elder was held in high esteem by all acquaintances throughout this valley who will share the sorrow of the husband and relatives.
