Information supplied by DMLeForce (47132181) states that she was born in 1860.

The 1 Oct 1861 date for her birth is correct. It is listed in her family Bible, now in the possession of the family of her son, Charles Thomas Dollins. On the 1900 census she states as head of the household that she was born in Oct. 1861. Her death certificate has the wrong birth date. Also, her parents were Alpheus Hendricks and Mary Elin Shock. (Glynda Black, Mary Jane Hendricks Dollins' great-granddaughter.)
