The son of the late Lenard A. and C. Camille (Phelan) Rouse was born September 27, 1917, in Boston, Massachusetts.
John served with the U.S. Navy during WWII.
On May 15, 1964, he married the former Dorothy Niles in Manchester, New Hampshire.
John was employed as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the American Legion Berryhill Post #165 and a life member of the VFW.
Mr. Rouse was survived by his wife of nearly 44 years, Dorothy.
