Alice Pena Anaya, 80, of Las Cruces died on Sunday, July 16, at her home. She was born on May 19, 1926 to Vicente and Guadalupe Lucero Pena, both deceased.
She was survived by her husband Evangelisto Anaya, Sr.; also by sisters Lillian Medina and Josie Pena; brothers Vicente and Henry Pena. Also surviving are stepchildren Evangelisto, Jr., Tony, Steve and John Anaya, Priscilla Marquez, Evelyn Gomez, Jeanette Rios, Rose Martinez, and Sylvia Vielma. Alice is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were brothers, Daniel, Arthur, and Albert Pena and sister Herminia Pena.
Funeral services were held at First Assembly of God Church, with Pastor David Vistine officiating. Burial followed at the Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Danny Tellez, Blanca Rios, Brady Rocks, Albert Pexa, Jr., Leo Pena and Martin Pena.
