Leona Johnson Butler, 86, died on January 25, 1990 in Price.

Born December 26, 1903 in Ogden, Utah to Fredrick Edward and Clara Genet Taylor Johnson. Married Ray Lewis Butler, December 19, 1923 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died October 26, 1971. Active member LDS Church, having served in numerous teaching and leadership positions as well as branch and ward organist. Retired from the US Postal Service, after 20 years of service. Traveled world wide.

Survived by three sons, Mark Ray and his wife, Gayle, Sacramento, Calif.; Ross E. and his wife, Margaret, Price; Leland E. and his wife, Joyce, Moraga, Calif.; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, a sister, Erma Johnson Anderson, Ogden. Preceded in death by her twin brother, Leland Johnson.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 1990 in the Myers Mortuary Chapel, 845 Washington Boulevard, Ogden. Friends may call at the mortuary one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Ogden City Cemetery.
