Madeline Krause, of Bloomington, died Saturday, November 15. She was the beloved daughter of Anne Hurley and Jim Krause of Bloomington and the dear sister of Eleanor Krause, 17.

Maddy graduated from Harmony High School in 2007 and attended Indiana University and Ivy Tech Community College. She had been involved with the Bloomington Playwrights Project and the Monroe County Civic Theater, and spent several summers at Camp Palawopec in Brown County. She loved poetry, Shakespeare, music, animals and travel.

Along with her parents and sister, Maddy is survived by her grandparents, Nina and Bill Krause of Bloomington; her aunt and uncle, Carrol Krause and Frank Reiter of Bloomington; cousin Miles Reiter, and many aunts, uncles and cousins across the country.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Harmony School, 909 E. Second Street, Bloomington.
