Bobby Wayne Adkins of Irving passed away November 4, 2008 in Irving. He was born on November 26, 1938 in Cookville, Texas. He worked as an Expeditor at LTV and enjoyed fishing, four wheeling and traveling. He is survived by wife Abi Solomon Adkins (married Dec. 16, 1986) of Irving; sons Dale Adkins of Katy, Texas; Randall Adkins of Grand Prairie; daughter Kim Boykin and husband James of Glen Heights; step-son Terry Seale and wife Shawna of Lewisville; sisters Emma Ruth McIntosh of Florida; Jewel Inez Hailey of Red Oak, Texas; Mary Nell Adkins of Duncanville, Texas; Shirley Ann Adcock of Venus, Texas; 6 grandchildren; and 6 step grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 7, 2008 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Parlin officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Hawkins Cemetery in Hawkins, Texas with Rev. Don Majors officiating. If desired, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
