Mrs. Rena Armstrong, 87, widow of Bob Armstrong of Chicota, died in Terrell, Monday about 1 p.m. Her husband died April 10, 1943.
Services were set Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Chicota Methodist Church by the Rev. Lewis Price, Baptist minister, Gene Roden & Sons making interment in nearby Forest Chapel Cemetery.
Children surviving are Ned Armstrong, and Mrs. Stance Sparks, Saratoga, Calif.; Robert Armstrong, Brookston; Joe Armstrong and Mrs. Lucy Gentry, Chicota; Mrs. Lee Orr, Moore Park, Calif., and a son by a former marriage, Arch Jackman, Paris; 126 other descendants, including one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Jim McCann of Bradford, and Bob McCann, Chicota, and a sister, Mrs. George Frye, Biardstown community.
