Wife of Ronald A. Fordyce
Shirley A. Fordyce, 62, of New Stanton, died Tuesday, April 20, 2004, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born April 27, 1941, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late William L. and Helen E. Harrold Hixson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A. Fordyce. She is survived by a stepson, Ronald J. Fordyce, of Tempe, Ariz.; two stepgrandchildren; a sister, Beverly S. Lafferty, of Somerset; a brother, Dr. Robert E. Bisel, of Warren, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was retired from Powerex of Youngwood. She was a member of Alpha Ministries of Greensburg and was a secretary for the church. Friends will be received at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood, Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Additional viewing will be at Alpha Ministries on Friday from 10 until 10:30 a.m., at which time there will be a service with the Rev. James A. Lyons officiating. Interment to follow in Harrold Lutheran Cemetery.
