Funeral services for Emma Blanche Pirkle, 92, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Elder Hubert Thompson officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery. Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pirkle died Monday, June 20, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born July 29, 1918, to James P. Copeland and Ella V. Wilkinson. She was a retired lunchroom manager with West Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warner S. Pirkle; two brothers, William J. (Audry) Copeland and Henry (Mozell) Copeland; two half sisters, Ila Puckett and Yettie Wilkinson; and two half brothers, Robert Copeland and Riley Copeland.
Survivors include a brother, Loyd (Jane) Copeland of Hartselle; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
