Wilma M. (Taylor) Coplin, 83, of Battle Creek, formerly of Olivet, died Friday, February 22, 2002, at Mercy Pavilion, Battle Creek.

She was born September 27, 1918, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Lester and Flossie (Chase) Taylor and lived most of her life in the Ainger/Charlotte/Olivet Area. She was a 1936, graduate of Olivet High School.

She was a founding member of Ainger Bible Church, where she taught Sunday School, worked with the youth group and the AWANA children's group.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lansing G. Coplin, July 18, 1994.

She is survived by sons, Duane (Patricia) Coplin of Lansing, Marvin (Linda) Copin of Dunkirk, Indiana, daughter, Elaine (James) Baker of Battle Creek, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and brother, Donald (Bonnie) Taylor of new Port Richey, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at Burkhead Green Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2002, with Pastor Scott Brood officiating.

Visitation at the funeral home, Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Interment in Bosworth Cemetery, Olivet.
