Miller, Lavoice
80, of Sun City passed away on October 24, 2008. Our beloved husband, father and friend, was received with open arms into heaven. He served in World War II and the Korean War. After discharge he worked at Southern California Gas company until he retired in 1985. He loved motorcycles, music, and history. Due to his charm and quick wit, he left a lasting impression on all those he met. He is survived by his wife Norma; sister Modeena; son and daughters, Kelly, Darlene, and Charlotte; granddaughters Jordyn, Taylor, and Bianca; and great-granddaughter Mia Dolce. He was preceded in death by his parents Irvin and Bertha; and siblings, Raymond, Ethel, Dane, LaDeena, and Murl. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 29th at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 15630 N. Del Webb, Sun City, AZ 85351 with services to follow at 11am. Burial scheduled for 1pm at the VA National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Published in The Arizona Republic on 10/29/2008
