She was the older sister of Mya George.After a constant earthly battle with several illnesses and diabetic complications, she has gone to her heavenly home. She died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at Children's Hospital of New Orleans. She was 6. Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Visitation in the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by Brother Benny Jones. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Baton Rouge. She is survived by her mother, Melissa Turnage and boyfriend Ramon Stewart; father, Garvin Turnage; an aunt, Terri George; a great-aunt, Carolyn George; an uncle, Joseph George; maternal grandmother, Shela White; maternal great-grandmother, Verda Sanchez; and paternal grandparents, Judith and Jerry Turnage. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mya George; maternal grandfather, Terry Dewain George; maternal great-grandmother, Willie Fae George; and maternal great-grandfather, Gerald Thibodeaux.
