Mary Carolyn Amburn

Mary Carolyn Amburn, the 21 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Amburn, was taken suddenly ill last Friday at Houston while they were attending the Reunion. All was done that could be to relieve the little sufferer, but to no avail. It continued to grow worse and died the following morning, but little Mary is now forever freed from all sorrow and pain and many times better off than anything this world could ever give. She was a great sufferer for only a few hours but now in that beautiful land of peace, rest and happiness will dwell forever. May the sad father and mother, relatives and everyone be as ready to go as this little babe was is my earnest prayer.
The funeral services were conducted by the writer at Boone Creek and the little body was laid to rest in the Boone Creek Cemetery Sunday.
