She was born in Cavendish, VT on November 19, 1908 the daughter of Peter and Regina (Sylvester) Benware. She had resided in Keene, in Ascutney, VT, in Van Nuys, CA and was in Mt Holly, VT for the past 10 years until July of this year.
She worked as a machinist in California for over 20 years.
She enjoyed gardening, pets, bingo and going to fairs.
She was the widow of her 1st husband, Loyd H. Martin whom she married on Nov. 22, 1926 and he died Jan. 6, 1938, and her second husband, Joseph Benware whom she married on October 26, 1940 and he died Mar. 15, 1994.
The surviving family includes her son, Richard Martin of Mt Holly, VT; her sister, Helen Billings of Randolph, VT and several nieces and nephews.
