Margie Marie McClaren Beckman, 92, of Lawrenceburg, TN, died Friday, Sep. 19, 2008, at NHC Healthcare of Hillview in Columbia, TN. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a native of West Point, TN, and a homemaker. Her parents were the late Niel F. and Dora Matthews McClaren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Aloysius G. Beckman and one son, Robert Beckman.
She is survived by three daughters, Doris Morris and husband, Pat of Lawrenceburg, TN, June Sandrell and husband, Roy of Lawrenceburg, TN and Betty Beuchner and husband, Dave of Memphis, TN. Two sons, Lester Beckman and wife, Joyce of Lawrenceburg, TN and Jimmy Beckman and wife, Lois of Lawrenceburg, TN. Twenty-eight Grandchildren, Fifty-two Great-grandchildren and Eighteen Great-great-grandchildren. One Great-great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at Lawrenceburg Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:30 AM Monday, Sep. 22, 2008, with Father Mark Beckman and Father Joseph Mundakal officiating. Interment followed at Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Sacred heart Catholic Church.
