The funeral for Alfred Nicholas, 68, 208 E. Center Ave., Dilworth, will be at 2 Saturday in Wright chapel, Moorhead, with the burial in Moorhead Memorial Gardens. He died Tuesday.
Mr. Nicholas was born Aug. 14, 1915, at Barnesville, Minn. He grew up at Felton, Minn., and married Leota Murphy March 28, 1935, at Moorhead. They farmed near Felton until 1960 when they moved to Dilworth, where they owned and operated a motel until retiring in 1976.
He is survived by his wife; two sons and two daughters, John, Billings Mont.; Les, 1417 15th St. S., Fargo; Mrs. Morris (Pat) Kelsven, 1230 10th St. N., Moorhead, and Mrs. Eugene (Sharon) Alder, Colstrip, Mont.; a brother and two sisters, Floyd Dewey, Felton; Dorothy Wambach, Georgetown, and Esther Olson, Bismarck, N. D.; 23 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
