Carlo E. Alfonso moved to Spokane, WA from the Philippines in 1997. He was educated there and married Rosemarie on December 26, 2007. Carlo was employed by Northern Quest Casino until he decided to join the US Military. He graduated as a combat engineer at Fort Lenard Wood, Missouri in 2006. Carlo then returned to Spokane where he worked at the Spokane Valley Mall Army Recruiting Station as a Volunteer Recruiter. After a short 2 week stay, he was sent to Baumholder, Germany. Then deployed to Sadr City Iraq for a 15 month tour, where he tragically lost his life on August 26, 2008. Carlo leaves behind and is survived by his wife; son; mother; father; step-father; sister; brother; several aunts, uncles and cousins; numerous friends and coworkers that he made along his journey of life. Funeral Services for Carlo will be held at 12:30, Saturday, September 6, 2008, at the Bethel AME Church, 645 S. Richard Allen Court, Spokane, WA.
