William Thomas Granahan was the son of Thomas F. and Mary Granahan. During World War 1, Thomas was inducted into the Army on June 27, 1918 at Philadelphia, Pa. He was sent to Camp Greenleaf, Georgia for training in the Medical Corps and sailed for France on August 24, 1918. He was assigned to the 301st Ambulance Company of the 301st Sanitary Train which was attached to the 4th Corps. Thomas served at the Front during the great Meuse-Argonne Offensive. He returned to the States on June 13, 1919 and was discharged on June 19, 1919 at Camp Dix, NJ as a Private. His service # was 2585888. Thank you for your service to our nation. -
