Les Holly of Buckley died October 15, 2007 in Tacoma, WA. He was born October 2, 1945 to Leslie Loren and Sebina Holly in Seattle, WA. He served in the US Army form 1964 to 1968. He married Heidemarie April 10, 1968 in Murmberg Germany. Les was employed by Rainier State School as an attendant then as a plant supervisor. He was a Buckley City Councilman and was a retired volunteer firefighter. Les enjoyed working in his yard, building things out of wood and spending time at his cabin with his dog. He is preceded in death by his wife Heide, July 23, 2003 and his parents. Survivors include his daughters, Christine "Tina" VanHoof and her husband Troy of Bonney Lake and Sabina "Beannie" Holly of Sumner. He is also survived by two sisters, Nora Oles & her husband Raymond, Colleen Haugen & her husband William all of Buckley and many nephews and nieces. A visitation will be held Friday, October 19, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and a funeral service, Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. both at Weeks' Funeral Home with burial at Buckley City Cemetery.
