Retha Marilyn Burnett, 51, of Pateros, died Monday, October 22, 1990 in the Central Washington Hospital at Wenatchee.
Mrs. Burnett was born January 19, 1939, at St. Paul, Arkansas, the daughter of Orval and Nona (Moody) Reed. They moved to Star Ranch when she was young. Later to Pateros where she attended school and has since resided.
She was married to Glenn Eddy Rogers in 1956. He preceded her in death in 1959.
She was married to Troy Moe Burnett, June 1, 1961, at Pateros.
Mrs. Burnett has worked 10 years for Nickells Orchard. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening and loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Troy, at the home in Pateros; three sons, Tom Burnett of Wenatchee, Troy Burnett of Pateros, Jerry Burnett of Pateros; four daughters, Sheila Lilje of Wenatchee, Glena Stachey of Ventura, California, Joanna Lambert of Pateros, Terri Burnett of Pateros; two step children, Randy Burnett of Kent, Washington and Debbie Howard of Auburn, Washington; five grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Reed of Bridgeport and Tom Reed of Pateros; two sisters, Karen Reed of Brewster and Joyce Harrison of Brewster. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held Friday, October 26, 1990 at 2:00 pm from the Church of Christ, Pateros, with Evangelist Willis Wormuth, officiating. Committal service in the Pateros Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 to 8:00 pm. Arrangements by Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
