Sweetie was a solid black Chow-Chow. She walked into my house and into my heart, and has been with me ever since.
Sweetie came to me in Morristown, Indiana. My dog Cotie went out on one of his rendezvous and came home with a female companion. She won my heart the moment that she walked into my life. Our home was blessed with 8 litters of puppies until finally I had her fixed.
She has been a very wonderful companion for me and protector. She was my best friend.
In 2007 Sweetie had a stroke, and one side of her face fell, she never whined or cried one time, from being in pain. Then I think she had another stroke in February 2008, but again, she never gave any sign that she had ever suffered with pain of any kind.
She died peacefully at home about 10 a.m. in the morning, and we buried her out beside the beautiful tree in our backyard so that she will always be with us.
Sweetie has joined her beloved Cotie and her little brother, Sparkie in heaven.
