Walter Floyd Cullen, a resident of Merrill for the past seven years, passed away in that city October 11, 1944 at 9:37 a.m. The deceased was a native of Richardson county, Nebraska and was 57 years, 10 months when called. Besides his wife Susie J. of Merrill, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Bray of Chiloquin, Mrs. Doris Evelyn Ash of Dorris, Calif., two sons Cecil Harold Cullen of Merrill and Forrest Floyd Cullen of Klamath Falls, two sisters Mrs. Edith Sheely of Texas, Mrs. Ethel M. Griffith of OCeanside, California, three brothers, George Cullen of Outlook, Washington, F.M. Cullen of Page, Nebraska, Herbert Cullen of Denver and seven grandchildren.
