Married to Irene Marie Styskal in 1949.Clarence Elwin Aden, 96, Kimball, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2008, after a brief illness. He was born on Dec. 10, 1911, in Sterling, Neb., to Gerhard and Jessie Aden.

He served in the Army Engineers during World War II. After the war, he worked for Fairbanks-Morrison Co. in the Diesel Electronic Locomotive Sales and Service area. Clarence married Irene Marie Styskal in 1949, and then the couple farmed his mother’s homestead in Milford, Neb., until 1988, when they moved to Sun City, Ariz., returning to Lincoln in 2003. He was an angel, so thoughtful and caring of all his family and especially his wife Irene. He will be missed by all and long-remembered.

Survived by sisters, Geraldine Boslaw, Aladine Boslaw, Donna Jean Hoppel (Donald). Also survived by brothers, William and Galen (Elina); stepdaughters, Willa Lee Farabaugh (Dr. Leonard), Jacqueline Nolan (William); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; wife, Irene; stepdaughters, Marilyn and Irene Mae; brother, Mervin and wife Laverne; sister-in-law, Goldie (wife of William Aden).

Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St., with viewing one hour prior to service. Entombment at Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to the Kimball County Manor, Kimball, Nebraska 69145.
