Funeral services for Woody Edward Lefever, 61 year old electrical engineer, who was fatally injured in an automobile accident near here Christmas night, were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 P. M. at the Lutheran Church with interment in the j Lutheran Cemetery. Mr. Lefever died Saturday morning in the Alexandria hospital where he was taken following a two-car collision. Bom in Ashbum, Va., September 6th, 1880, he was the son of Henry and Amanda Estelle Lefever and went with his parents to Three Forks, Montana when he was six years of age. Here he spent the early years of his life. He was graduated from| the University of Utah and the St. Louis School of engineering. Upon his return to Virginia, he was associated with the Westinghouse Electric Manufacturing Company for a number of years as an electrical engineer. He married the former Miss Ethel Strickler Hibbs of Fauquier County and resided at Buckland, Va. until he came to Manassas with his family fifteen years ago to make his home. Mr. Lefever was a member of the Manassas Lutheran Church . and the Grand Lodge A. F. and A. M. of Virginia, Ashbum Lodge No. 288. Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Edith F. Elksnis, 19, Rosa Estelle, 20, Virginia Louise, 16, Pearl Charlotte, 10, and one son, Charles Edward, 7. Mr. Lefever was well known in Prince William County where he had many friends.
