John Thomas Brammer is the son of Joseph Anderson Brammer and Mary Ann Givens.
He married Delphana Jane Nelson, in 1889 in Arkansas. She is the daughter of daughter of James Madison Nelson and Mary Catherine Crabtree.
They are the proud parents of eleven children

Last Wednesday morning at 2:15 death visited the home of J.T. Brammer, taking him, the head of this fine family, aged 78 years. Mr. Brammer had lived among us about 8 years, and was affectionately known as Grandpa. Surviving are nine children and his wife. Two children had preceded him in death. Those living are: Mrs. W.R. Snow, Mrs. Maretta Swinford, Mrs. Calidona Garland, Mrs. Lourana Taylor, James Brammer. He also has 25 grandchildren. Our sympathy is with the bereaved family.
