Morgan James Ivie, infant, passed away at 1:50 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Providence Hospital in Waco.Morgan was our little miracle and though we will miss watching him grow, we will take comfort in knowing he will be living the best life anyone can have. God needed Morgan to come home early and what a homecoming he must have had. Numerous grandparents, aunts and uncles were there to meet him.Morgan is survived by his mother, Juli Elaine Ivie of Waco; father, Duane Scott Collins of San Antonio; half-brother, Dallas Whitehead of Louisiana; maternal grandfather, James Ivie of Waco; aunt, Jamie Ivie of Waco; uncle, Jim Ivie of Phoenix, Ariz.; paternal grandparents, Art and Christine Collins of Stafford; aunt, Toni Davis of Houston; and aunt, Wendy Abeel and husband Joe of San Antonio. There are also a multitude of extended friends and family that will miss him dearly.Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with the Rev. B.F. Risinger officiating. Burial will follow at Younger Cemetery.
