Funeral services for Ina Maxine "Mackie" Eaton, 55, of Wisner, were held at First Pentecostal Church in Wisner on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007 at with Rev. Glen Massey officiating. Interment followed at New Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mrs. Eaton was born Dec. 3, 1951 in Winnsboro, and passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007 in Shreveport. Mackie was currently a registered nurse with Winnsboro Dialysis Center and had been in nursing for 21 years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who worked hard and enjoyed the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Mac and Ina Shelton; step father: Henry Pittman; and grandson, Tyler Stark.
Survivors include her husband, Gentry Eaton of Wisner; son, Josh Ohler of Wisner; daughter-Becky Stark and husband James of Sicily Island; step son, Paul Eaton and wife Kye of West Monroe; step daughter, Kelly McIntyre and husband Lee of Oak Grove; nine grandchildren: Brittney Ohler, Tristen Newman, Haleigh Newman, James Stark Jr., Gavin Stark, Cameron Eaton, Bailey Eaton, Tara McIntyre, Bass McIntyre; one sister, Sue Carroll and husband Cedric Jr. of Maurepas, La.
Pallbearers were Larry Rogers, Ricky Bailey, Donnie Bailey, Cedric Carroll, III, Steven Carroll, and Paul Carroll.
Honorary pallbearer was Paul Eaton.
