Mrs. Sarah Barndollar.
Sarah Grubb Barndollar was born in Clearville, Pa., on September 11, 1845 and passed out of this life in her home in Wellington, October4, 1921, aged 76 years and 23 days days. The end came Tuesday evening at 11:20.

Her girlhood years were spent in Clearville, Pa., Baltimore, Maryland and Bedford Springs, Pa. In the past named place, 52 years ago next October 23 words were spoken and vows taken that made her the wife of J.W. Barndollar. For over a half century they lived together in the happy bonds of matrimony, and their love for each other grew stronger as the years flew by.

To this union were born five children. One of the number a son Chester died 18 years ago as the result of a Railroad accident. The living children are: George, Margaret, Emma and Mrs. H.H. Burcham, all of this city.

Thirty four years ago the family left the east and took up their residence in Winfield, Kansas, where they remained for eight years. Twenty six years ago the change was made to Wellington, which place has since been their home.

Mrs. Barndollar, when a young lady of twenty three was converted and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. From that day on for over fifty years she was a faithful and consistent Christian taking part in the activities of the Church until the first stroke of paralysis which occurred two and a half years ago, making her an invalid. The final stroke came Friday evening as she was sitting at the supper table with her husband. Unconsciousness followed immediately, and like a child, tired upon mother's breast as the evening shadows gather so she peacefully slept and was not, for God took her. Patient under the hand of the sorest affliction, cheerful when the days seemed the darkest, a lover of home and a friend to all, such is the beautiful impress left upon the lives of those who knew her best. A husband, four children and a multitude of friends will miss her bright smile and happy face.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barndollar were held at the Methodist Church this afternoon at two-thirty, Rev. J.E. Coe officiating. Pall bearers were Messrs W.A. Archer, F.N. Anderson, Ed. T. Hackney, Fletcher Price, W.H. Schulte, and Walter Harrick.
