Professional Football Player. A native of Pittsburgh, he played at the center position for six seasons (1950 to 1951, 1953 to 1956) in the National Football League with the Washington Redskins. After serving in the United States Army Air Corps, he attended the University of Kentucky where he became a star player. He was inducted into their Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005. Ulinski was selected by the Redskins in the 4th round of the 1950 NFL Draft and appeared in 72 career regular season games achieving Pro Bowl status in 1955. During the 1952 season, he played for Ottawa of the CFL.
