 I am Agnes Smedley's Great Nephew John Smedley, I was just wondering if there is anyone out there still alive that knew her. She died 3 years before I was born and didn't here about what all she did until the last ten years.  I read 'Daughter of Earth' when I was in college, and loved it. I had never before, and seldom since, read an author so brave and so in tune with real people, especially real women. I now live in China, and I love it. They've reprinted your books here, so now I have chance to read many books I could not get in the US - and I pass them on to my students.
