Carmen Elaine Johnson, 42, of Temple died May 18 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services were held May 22 at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Cameron with the Rev. Tom Hanus and the Rev. Ranjan Cletus officiating. Burial followed in the St. Monica's Cemetery.
Johnson, a teacher for St. Mary's Catholic School in Temple, was born Sept. 13, 1964 in Austin to John and Frances (Hembree) Johnson. She was a graduate of Westlake High School and received a bachelor of science degree from Southwest Texas State University. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she was active in many areas.
Survivors include her parents, John and Frances Johnson of Cameron and brother, Malcom Johnson of Bryan.
