Dominic Priano, 91, our loved and respected husband, dad, and grandpa, passed away March 31, 2008 at his son's home in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

Dominic was born January 10, 1917 in Sunnyside, Utah to Guiseppe and Caterina Zaccaria Priano. He married Evelyn Murray on November 26, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah; their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. For 40 years, Dominic worked at Kennecott Utah Copper and held the position of Heavy Equipment supervisor at the time of his retirement. He served a two year LDS Mission with the Laotian Community in the Salt Lake Valley and served 11 years as a temple worker in the Jordan River LDS Temple. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed his last successful deer hunt at age 90. Dominic loved his family. He spent many hours working in his woodshop and made many treasures which he shared with his friends and family.

Survivors: wife, Evelyn; daughter, Katherine (Edward) Nemanic; his son, D J (Laurie) Priano; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Thurs., April 3, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street. Friends may call on Thurs. one hour prior to Services.
Interment: Sandy City Cemetery.
