HEALDTON -- Services for Mamie Ethel Brecheen will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2002, at the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Dwight Hawkins and the Rev. Dan Stewart officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery.

Born Sept. 21, 1920, in Huntsville, Texas, Mrs. Brecheen died June 5, 2002, in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Married to Wilson Evan Brecheen on Nov. 7, 1942, in Huntsville, they made their home in Hankammer, Texas, moved to Comanche in 1960 and to Milo in 1968. Her husband passed away on July 12, 1986, and she moved to Healdton in 1990.

She was a Rebekkah, Noble Grand, member of the L.A.P.M. in Lawton, L.E.A. in Duncan, past president and past matriarch on the state level, held declaration of Chivalry, was president and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Comanche and member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Healdton.

She had many hobbies, including marketing Mamies Barbeque. She loved her water and rose gardens, showing them to her friends. She always had time for everyone, never meeting a stranger and lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She was loved by her family very much, the same way she loved her family. She will be deeply missed by all.
