Mrs. Susan Douglas Archer, 70, wife of Milton Archer, died Friday, July 14 at her home in south Jellico. She has been in ill health for about a year. Mrs. Archer is survived by her husband, two sons, Charlie, Jellico and Floyd Archer, US Navy, two grandchildren, Joe Sue and Louis Jean, two sisters, Mrs. Lear Campbell, Knoxville, and Mrs. Fanny Ayers, Habersham, four brothers, Bill, Simon, Sam and Spencer. Funeral services were held in the Crouches Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Williams officiating. She was a member of this church for over 50 years. Burial in Crouches Creek Cemetery. Lewellyns Funeral Director in charge.
