She was born in Abbeville, Louisiana to the late Preston and Jeanette Thibodeaux Comeaux. She was a member of First Church of God of Port Arthur.
She is survived by three sons, Randall David Hopkins and Richard Glenn Hopkins, Sr. (Lisa) and Jeffrey Dale Hopkins; two daughters, Linda Gale Mobley (Arthur) and Judy Denise Perkins; three sisters, Gaynell Swindle, Mary Lynn Braquet and Judy Domec; special cousin, Dolores Douglas; six grandchildren and five great - grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Hopkins; her parents; sister, Earline Stewts; and grandson, James Eugene Mobley.
