Jacqueline Jean Garner, 41, died at Memorial General Hospital.

She was a 1957 graduate of Las Cruces High School and a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 20. She also taught a literacy sewing class for international students.

Funeral services were conducted at the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Cliff Ennen and the Rev. Lyle Lionbarger officiating. Burial followed in the Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors included her husband, Richard G. Garner of Las Cruces; three daughters; Cheryl Lynn Garner and Carrie Jean Garner, both of Las Cruces, and Vickie Lynn Osborne, stationed with the U.S. Navy at San Diego, CA; her father, Jack Kelley of Harrold, TX, and her mother, Mrs. John Owen of Las Cruces; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. C. H. Whirlow of Electra, TX, and a brother Charles Kelly of Eagle Pass, TX.

Pallbearers were Richard Mullins, Ronnie Molleur, Jay Matsler, Larry Terry, Bruce Gibson, and Stan Helfrich.
