Wanda Miles Chamberlain, 84, passed away on January 28, 2008 in Provo, Utah. Born on April 16, 1923 the daughter of Milton P. "Mick" and Marvel (Woolstenhulme) Stevens. She married Glendon L. Miles on June 25, 1943. He died October 5, 1977. She later married Joe Chamberlain, November 1, 1979. He passed away in September 1998.
She loved to work with people and worked at Hoyt's store in Kamas, Kamas State Bank, Bank One, and High Country Title in Park City. She was a member and state trustee in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles in Heber City, Utah. Wanda loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She loved to cook and was known for her delicious chocolate cakes. She was a member of the LDS church.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Bob) Miles, Kamas, Utah and daughter, Glenda (Dee) Thomas, Ferron, Utah; Sister Barbara Prescott Thomas, Midway, UT; Also 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and her loved dog, Sammy.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands, her son Bart; her parents, and a sister Bonnie Matlock.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 31, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in the Kamas LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Francis Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas.
