She was married October 6, 1830 and her first two children were born on or near the Peck-Wagman farm where her husband grew up. In the Bacon Hill cemetery she is on the right end of a long line of Vanderwerkers headed by her grandfather Isaac VanDerwarker 1750-1824. Isaac was one of the first settlers in Northumberland and she was born on that homestead. Her parents were Sovereign Vanderwarker and Lucy Reed Ross.
