Doris Booth was baptized into Christ on June 1, 1983 at the Nelson Street Church of Christ. In 2004, she placed membership at the Minda Street Church of Christ where she was a faithful member until her death. Doris loved Bible Class and all church activities. She sang in the Minda Street Adult Chorus and appreciated the many visits they made during her illness.

Her parents, Mollie Mozell Hendrix and Sammy Hightower preceded her in death.

She is survived by Blanche Knox "Madea" of Abilene, several relatives in Fort Worth, Sweetwater, and Abilene, Texas; several nieces and nephews; special friends and her Minda Street Church family. Doris is also survived by her beloved pets, Hubert II, Smoky, and Midnight.

A special thank you to the Hospice team at Hendrick Health System and the many ladies who served Doris during her time of need.

We will miss her smile, her laugh, and her kind spirit. Doris was loved by many and though she is absent in body, she will always be with us in spirit.
