Mrs. Gertrude Anna Craig, 89, died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. William Renwick of Sligo RD 2, yesterday morning following a lingering illness. Born in Upper Hillville, Clarion County, July 19, 1873, she was a daughter of James Hunter and Martha Rumbaugh Buzard. She was married in 1892 to James M. Craig who died in 1949. Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Frank Griffith; a son, Roy Craig; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. A daughter, Delia Craig Elliott, and a son, Hunter M. Craig, preceded her in death. Mrs. Craig was a member of the Sligo Presbyterian Church since 1907 and a member of its Missionary Society. The body has been removed to the Hawk Funeral Home in Sligo where friends are being received from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. today and tomorrow. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Edward McKee of Tionesta officiating. Burial will be in the Sligo Cemetery. Derrick, Oil City, PA.
