Born March 14, 1936, in Muhlenburg County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Rayburn and Alpha Graham Pierson. She formerly lived in Hopkinsville, Ky., and moved to Lafayette in 2000.
She married Fred O. Crandall on Sept. 9, 1967, in Springfield, Ky., and he died Aug. 6, 2003.
Mrs. Crandall was a nurse's aide at Western State Hospital in Hopkinville, before retiring.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Debbie Ward, and a sister, Nelma Sarault, both of Lafayette.
Visitation 5-7 p.m. Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service 10 a.m. Tuesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Pastor James Chase officiating. Interment Concord Cemetery.
