Elsie G. Linville, 94, formerly of Clarksburg, Ind., died at the Heritage House of Greensburg, on Sunday, Jan. 9, 1994 at 1:45 p.m. She resided at the Heritage House for the past three years.

Born Aug. 13, 1899, in Rush County, Ind., she was the daughter of James F. and Orpha M. (Barnes) Barnard. On Aug. 7, 1916, she married Ferman E. Linville in Greensburg. He preceded her in death Aug. 12, 1970. She was a member of the former Clarksburg Presbyterian and Methodist Churches.

Survivors include two sons, Edwin R. Linville, Greensburg and Donald G. Linville, Clarksburg; a daughter-in-law, Betty Linville, Greensburg; one grandson and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carmen Linville; one sister, Thelma Barnard; four brothers, Milton, Willard, Roy, and Orville Barnard; and one grandson, Steven Linville.

Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Clarksburg Cemetery with the Rev. Harlan Cox officiating.

There will be no public visitation.

Arrangements were handled by the Porter-Oliger Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg.
