Charles M. Wall, Sr., age 83, of Tyler, AL, passed away November 19, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Wall, Jr. and Hugh "Hootie" Wall; sister, Marilyn Wall; daughter-in-law, Jan Wall and brother-in-law, David Boozer.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Williams Wall; son, Charles "Chuck" Wall, Jr.; daughters, Deedie (George W.) Smith and Cammie (Harold R.) Turner; brothers, Gene (Linda) Wall and Lawrence (Veta) Wall; sister, Beverly Boozer; six grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be, Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Jim Parker and Rev. George K. Jones, Sr. officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.

Mr. Wall retired from the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling, woodworking, model trains and full size trains, but most of all, he enjoyed his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 1800 West Dallas Ave., Selma, AL 36701.
