Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 24, 2000 at the Mounds Cemetery at Mounds, OK under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mrs. Powell was born August 31, 1901 at Mounds, Indian Territory, the daughter of Henry F. and Mary Ann (Pickett) Wills and died Monday, February 21, 2000 at her home. Mrs. Powell attended grade school at Mounds, Tulsa Central High School and graduated from Conway-Brun School in Tulsa. She married F. Park Powell in 1921. She was a member of Boston Avenue Methodist Church in Tulsa. Survivors are 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Kenneth Birkes of Webbers Falls, Mary and Ben McGoodwin of Oklahoma City; 4 grandchildren.
