Baby Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Moring Is Run Over at Anthony
-----------
FOUND LYING IN DRIVE
-----------
Dash to Hospital Here Is Vain; No Witnesses to Tragedy Are Found
-----------

Seventeen – months – old Nellie Catherine Moring, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Moring, 1107 Bonn, was fatally injured yesterday when struck by a motor car at Anthony Kan.

The child was found lying in the driveway at the home of its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Moring, where a big family dinner was being held. No one saw the accident.
Rushed to the Anthony hospital for X-ray pictures, physicians advised that the child be brought to St. Francis hospital here.

Injured Internally

The baby died six blocks from the local hospital.
Physicians said it apparently had suffered internal injuries.

The little girl was found lying prone in the driveway
about noon by other children, shortly after a car driven by a nephew of the Morings had been backed out of the drive.

Unaware of Mishap

The frantic parents rushed their daughter to the Anthony hospital, unaware that it had been run over but with the knowledge that something terrible had happened to her.

It is believed a wheel of the car passed over the tot's body.

Besides her parents and grandparents at Anthony, Nellie Katherine is survived by one brother, George Emerson Moring, 4, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Snyder, 1105 Bonn.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Gill mortuary.
