"Isom Brasher, 93-year-old native and resident of d'Iberville, died at his home on Bay Shore Drive Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock after a lengthy illness. Mrs.(sic) Brasher was the widower of Mrs. Rosalie Moran Brasher, who died on Monday of this week. He was engaged in the ship building industry as a carpenter most of his life. He is survived by one son, John Brasher, d'Iberville; one daughter, Mrs. Percy Fournier, d'Iberville; one brother, Henry Brasher, d'Iberville; five grand children and three great grand-children. The funeral will be from O'Keefe Funeral Home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with services by Rev. Paul Koehler. Burial will be in the Moran Cemetery in d'Iberville."
