I am not sure precisely who this Nicholas Easton is. Progenitor of the Easton family in Newport Nicholas Easton died Aug 15,1675 at age 83. Could it be a son of his?
Nicholas Easton had two known sons:
1) Peter Easton had a son Nicholas Easton who died Feb 1,1676/7 who, in turn, had a son Nicholas Easton Jr who was born in 1668 but died in 1711.
and
2) John Easton, who does not appear to have had a son named Nicholas, or any son old enough to have had a son named Nicholas that would have been alive before 1671.
