Grahm Thomas and Emmitt Charles Van Hyning, newborn twin sons of Chuck and Daneen (Gaffey) Van Hyning, passed into Heaven on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, Illinois. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Yorkville, with private burial in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Savanna, Illinois. A memorial has been established in Grahm and Emmitt's names. Grahm and Emmitt were born on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, Illinois. They began their lives, here on earth, in the intensive care unit. Even with the best of care, they could not overcome their struggles and God took them home on Thursday, November 29, 2007. Both children passed while in their mother's loving arms and surrounded by caring family members.

Grahm and Emmitt will be dearly missed by their parents, Chuck and Daneen Van Hyning of Yorkville, Illinois; a sister, Eden Deborah; maternal grandfather, Tom (Mary Jane) Gaffey of Savanna, Illinois; paternal grandparents, Charles & Linda Van Hyning, Jr. of Des Plaines, Illinois; maternal great-grandfather, Vince Gaffey of Savanna, Illinois; paternal great-grandparents, Lenore Basile of Rolling Meadows, IL and Charles Van Hyning, Sr. of Des Plaines, IL; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Grahm and Emmitt are preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Deborah Gaffey, maternal great-grandmother, Alice Gaffey, maternal great-grandparents Omer and Alice Hanson, paternal great-grandfather Russell Basile, and paternal great-grandmother Dorothy Van Hyning.
