LEVELLAND — Services for Percy C. Bailey, 77, of Levelland will be at 4:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with Steve Vernon and Jimmy Huggins of Lubbock officiating.
Burial will be at City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors of Levelland.
He died Saturday, March 23, 2002.
He was born Nov. 18, 1924, in Terry County. He had lived in Levelland since he was an infant. He married Jimmie Chatham on July 12, 1947, in Levelland. He was a 1942 graduate of Levelland High School and attended Texas Tech. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He worked as a salesman, then owned and operated Percy's Barber Shop until retiring in 1975.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Men's Bible Class and the Hockley County Senior Citizens. He was the first president of the Levelland Exchange Club.
